Who We Are:
The Managed Care Executive Group (MCEG) is a national organization that provides
a forum for the open exchange of information, innovative ideas, and experience among senior health plan leaders. MCEG was
formed in 1988 and will celebrated its 21st anniversary at the annual meeting in Fort Lauderdale in March,
2010. The organization uniquely serves as a community of executives who act as resources to each other throughout the year
in navigating the tactical and strategic issues facing organizations today. Attendance at the annual forum is limited to 75
executives and senior managers. This intimate gathering fosters open and honest discussion and the building of enduring relationships.
The annual forum includes panel discussions, keynote speakers and valuable networking opportunities. MCEG is supported by
a small group of select vendors - unlike most industry events, the annual forum does not include an exhibit hall. The purpose
of MCEG is to create a comfortable forum for the exchange of ideas, the development of valuable peer relationships and the
opportunity to explore the innovation that will transform organizations and the industry. If
you are ready to join a community that is about YOU contact one of our Board Members to help you get started!

· Provide a forum for the development of policy relating to the use of information
technology in healthcare and, when appropriate, exert influence on the appropriate policy making bodies.
· To provide feedback to vendor sponsors and other vendors on the trends and technology needed to
ensure their products and strategies meet their customer’s present and future managed care computing needs.
· To educate IS executives on clinical and administrative trends in the healthcare, new and emerging
technologies, and other pertinent information to assist in achieving the key goals of cost containment, effective service
and high quality health care.
